Is the Shredder a good guy now?
As the second Ninja Turtles crossover continues, both sides regroup as the heroes reckon with the knowledge that Casey Jones has betrayed them, and that Rita Repulsa and Dimension X are amassing villains!
Sadly, the Rangers are all too familiar with people who were brainwashed by Rita, but the heroes hang their hopes on being able to break Casey’s spell.
In Dimension X, we see that Rita has officially teamed up with Krang to lead a coalition army, and Casey is revealed to have in his possession the last surviving Dimension X Morpher.
Soon thereafter, Rita and her army descend upon Angel Grove. The Power Rangers and the Turtles leap into action, with the latter being able to morph at the same time through a method called shadow-morphing.
It effectively doubles the heroes’ collective strength, but the new technology has a time limit.
As the battle rages, Ranger X leads a strike force upon the Command Center—their target being Zordon.
Raphael, Jason, and Tommy intercept them, and Raphael is able to break the dark weapon of Ranger X in a bid to free Casey from Rita’s control.
However, he is shocked to learn that Casey joined the opposition of his own free will.
As things are looking grim, the Shredder joins the battle to help defend the Command Center!
